Aunt Alli Copycat

Angelica loves her Aunt Alli and often says "I want to be like Aunt Alli one day to do this...." She especially loves playing piano with her and singing songs. So one day Alli was practicing and Angelica stood right along side her and pretended to be practicing as well....

Taylor, the Latte Boy

Alli recently performed at a Ballet Recital, singing Taylor the Latte Boy....very cute and funny song and she sings it beautifully....check it out...

The girls LOVE this song....last weekend I played it for them and they literally spent an HOUR watching and studying her and trying to learn the song...so cute.

Chores can be Fun!

I meant to post this awhile ago....when we got back from our trip to Sequim, our van was dirty dirty dirty (including all the drool that the buffalo left on the windows!). So my sister Allison was going to wash it for us, and Angel and Emma decided to help!! Everything is more fun to music and since Alli was currently a bird girl in the CSTOCK production of Suessical, they were washing to some Suessical tunes! Angel had a blast "working" as she told me and Emma mostly liked to play in the bucket!! Thanks girls!!

Musical Collage

I hope most of you were able to go see Musical Collage at CSTOCK. It was a fun and beautiful production all done by the kids!!! Alli's song BLEW ME AWAY (I know I am biased)...but she truly made people cry and sounded beautiful!! Here is a video my mom took at the last rehearsal...the show nights were even better...check it out and enjoy!! Her song is "I'm Not Afraid" from Songs from a New World.

Here is another short video of a friend of Alli's performing "My New Philosophy" from You're a Good Man Charlie Brown......very FUNNY, and again from the dress rehearsal but at least you get a taste of it!!

Go Visit Narnia!!

My sister Alli is once again in a play - where else would she be?? She plays the part of Susan (the oldest girl sibling) for half the shows and in the other cast she plays an old wicked hag. The children were double cast in this production. So (all you locals) please visit C-Stocks website for the show to see times and dates to come see it. Also, you can check out Alli's personal theatrical profile! She plays Susan the weekend of 20-22 and then March 6-8. Our friend Becca Gray plays Susan on the other weekends, so I hope I can see both!!I took Angelica to the final dress rehearsal production and she made it through the whole show!!! She loved the ballerina between scene changes (I think the white stag to be correct)...she was a little worried about the scary scenes (so she just turned around and laid on mama and asked me to tell her when they were over)...loves seeing Aunt Alli on stage...and she laughed her way through the fight scenes (I guess to her people falling on the floor and jumping around is just hilarious!). The show was written up before it started and then just got a very good first review.

Portland Trip - Game One

Friday we drove down to Portland to watch Caitlin play soccer...Emma's first Portland soccer trip. Angel loved seeing her Aunt Caitlin play "soccer ball" and she loves shouting "Go CU!" It was Caitlin's senior recognition game Friday so we got to go out on the field with her while remarks about each of the senior players were made. Hard to believe four years has gone by so quickly....we will miss watching soccer games next year! I made up a poster for Caitlin of soccer pictures from elementary school all the way through college. Caitlin gave Angel her number jersey and Angel loved wearing it although it looked more like a dress!! Allison led us all in singing the national anthem and she did a great job (listen below). It was a good game and they won 6-0. Angel and Emma decided to take a nap during the second half (the game didn't start until 5 so they were tired). Then we went and saw Caitlin's cute apartment and went out to eat dinner. Then it was to bed after we could finally convince Angel to sleep in the play pen next to our bed.....she kept calling it "Emma's bed" and finally fell asleep while Jason laid next to her holding her hand. Poor thing has a runny nose and cough so sleeping it a bit difficult right now. We were spoiled by a king size bed and oh so wishing we had one back at home!

Happy Birthday Teenager!!

Happy Birthday Alli. I can't believe my "baby" sister is now 13!!!! Wow, how the years have flown by....there are so many times when I am taking care of my little ones that I remember doing the same things with you!! I am so blessed that I get to see so much of you...I was always worried that because I was so much older you would never really know or see me!! You are so full of life and it is always such a pleasure to watch you and all your many talents. You are a wonderful aunt and the girls are blessed to be so close to you!! I hope you have a wonderful day and can't wait to celebrate tomorrow!! Love you!

Come see Alli as Becky Thatcher!!

My sister, Alli, is starring as Becky Thatcher (the girl in the yellow dress in the picture) in CSTOCK's production of Tom Sawyer in Silverdale. The show starts September 19 - October 12th, show times are Fridays and Saturdays at 730pm and Sundays at 6pm. Tickets can be bought online at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/, by phone at 360-692-9940, or email tickets@cstock.org , and at the door too. (I think they are $10-15). It is a GREAT show with some AWESOME music. Click HERE for an early review and a nice comment about Alli. We have been taking the girls to the rehearsals so they can see Aunt Alli perform without interrupting the audience. Tomorrow, September 14th, they are singing some of the songs at the Global Bean Coffee House in Silverdale from 2-4pm...come down and listen!! (the coffee is REALLY good too!)
