Hand me downs

Since we have three girls....Michaela ends up wearing most of the same clothes her two big sisters have worn. We LOVE hand me downs. I took this picture the other day and it reminded me of a picture take two years ago with Angelica and Emma in them!!

Tea for Two

Thank Aunty Megs

we always LOVE our Hanna outfits!

Whatever Works

Thanks to my friend Jenny, we bought a used couch for $50 a couple months ago....hopefully to be in a play room one day. It is the perfect size for reading books on and as you can see.....many other fun uses. The girls were so excited about it, the first day they spent HOURS playing on it!

Setting the Table

We have been practicing setting the table and the girls love to have their tea parties...so lately any kind of table transforms into a table for two! Gotta love the blanket as a tablecloth and their dishes!!

Our Little Composer

Not sure why Angelica thought it was necessary to put her play tea chair on the piano bench....but I secretly was able to tape her the other day while she was composing (until she caught me). Apparently her doodle board makes a great place to write your music (easy to erase your mistakes) and gotta love the songs....all from the Music Man (she saw her Aunt Alli in the show and still LOVES it!).

And then our Monkey-Do (aka, Emma) had to take a shot....

After Bath Dress Up

After baths, the girls get to play in Angelica's room for a bit. They LOVE to take all the dress up clothes out of the closet and play....this night for some reason Angelica got to wear the dress and Emma, well...got to wear the cape!!

Graduated to the Big Tub

Last month Michaela graduated - to the big girl bath tub!! Her older sisters love having her occasionally join them and "help" to bathe her. Michaela was not sure what to think of all the activity at first but LOVED being in the water...the bath tub is running out of room...one day we might have to baths in shifts, but I guess that is a good problem to have!

Art Time

Painting requires some serious concentration...as seen by Angel and her tongue sticking out!

Hanna Hand Me Downs

It is amazing to see Miss Emma now wearing all of Angelica's Hanna Andersson outfits from Aunt Megs....where did my little girl go??
Her signature silly face
Angel stealing the lime light
but copied her sisters move!

Hide NOT Seek

The girls LOVE to play hide and seek. However, they go and hide just fine but then when you are supposed to find them....they yell and tell you where they are so it makes it pretty easy!!

My Monkeys

This is what the girls decide to do when they are supposed to be getting dressed after their baths...I really do not want another broken bone.

Girls will be Girls

The girls have bath crayons that they usually like to draw all over the wall and tub with. However, Angelica decided that they would also work well as nail polish for the toes...so Emma followed suit and they now enjoy painting their nails while in the bath!!

Dress Up

Angelica and Emma have been playing dress up more and more lately....and it is always fun when they play it with Aunt Alli. I have got to find some kind of dress up clothes chest because we are finding dress up items everywhere. One day at Marmee's Aunt Alli dressed Angelica up as a prairie girl (in a costume that my mom made for ME) and Emma came down dressed up as ????, your guess is as good as mine!

So Many Hugs

Michaela definitely does not suffer from neglect or not enough hugs and kisses, her big sisters make sure of that!! They love her so much and sometimes too hard!! We are working on that. It is sweet to watch Angelica's very motherly ways and gentle nature with the baby and it is um, amusing to watch Emma's entertaining antics with her (most of the time). Angelica was very excited one day when she not only got Michaela to stop crying but also smile with a little help from the Jesus Loves Me Bunny..check it out!
