It's Hanna Time...

Every so often...a package arrives addressed to Angelica (and now also Emma). When Angel sees it is a white box tied with pretty red ribbon....she knows it is, as she says, "ME'S!!" Once again the Hanna Andersson fairy (aka Aunty Megs) delivered some adorable spring outfits. And Angel just had to model hers...and thinks Emma's are "me's" as well but Emma will have to model them at a later time...

4 month stats

Emma had her (little late) four month check yesterday....and she weighed in at 14 pounds 6 ounces (75%), measured 26.25 inches long (95%-maybe she will get her Papa's height, and head measured 42.5 cm. She is a very healthy little girl and loves to smile!!

Happy Easter

We had a blessed and happy Easter yesterday. Mass was beautiful and both the girls were very well behaved which always makes it more wonderful. The Church looked so royal and gorgeous all decorated after seeing it barren and clothed in purple during Holy Week. The girls were a vision of pink in their (yes matching) Easter dresses. Thanks Grammy. We spent the day at my parents house and enjoyed brunch with Mimosas, fun times finding Easter Baskets and egg hunts, spending time with loved ones, and a delicious dinner and dessert. We always have fun making place settings for the table and this year they were so cute and very special. I made the now traditional crunchy chocolate peanut butter eggs, and my mom and Alli made the "egg people". But they were special because the hats on everyone's eggs were ones that my Mamasan had decorated years ago. So in a special way she was very much with us yesterday for Easter celebrations and dinner! A post with a couple of the Easter recipes to follow!! Hope you enjoy the pics-there are lots of good ones to see!

Bumbo baby

Emma tried out the Bumbo for the first time the other day...after much convincing to her older sister to "allow" Emma to sit in "her" seat. Angel kept saying "me's" (which means mine) and pointing to the bouncy seat and saying "Emma's chair". Learning to share some things could be interesting...

Good and dirty...

Nothing like a PB&J sandwich

Emma's big news...

Emma is four months old today (hard to believe)...we will have to give stat updates when she has her check up in a couple weeks. But yesterday, she rolled over!! Watch and see!

She can also go the other way!

And Angelica just had to show us how she can do it too!

Sally and Me

Angelica was given such a beautiful and fun gift...a Bitty Baby from American Girl, named Sally. She loves saying her name. Not only was she given the doll, but all kinds of clothes, the crib, high chair, teddy bear with matching outfits, and accessories!! Thank you GRAY FAMILY so much for this special gift. She loves imitating what we do with Emma with her Sally baby. Although, lately she prefers her undressed than clothed...but at least she covers her up with a blanket so she isn't too cold. I am sure she and her sister will spend years loving and enjoying her!!

Happy Spring!!

These make me so happy...thanks Mom!

Sharing the Sister Love

Chillin with Papa...

I thought it was so sweet...I had sent Jason something on email to read and asked if he had read it. He told me I should send it to his work email becuase he trys to check that on his breaks. When I asked him why not his home address he said that when he is home he wants more time to play and spend with me and the girls, not on the computer. What a daddy they have!!

Robes of many colors...

Marmee made Angel and Aunt Alli matching robes...Angel loves having an Aunt so close to play with!!

Too cute for words...

...you would never know she HATES putting dresses and tights on!!

Movie Time

Over the last week we have seen two really great movies, both based on true stories. The first is The Mission....what a beautiful witness of the faith and conversion...the music and movie are beautiful!! The other movie is Pride. Great story of perserverance and respect. Would love to meet Jim Ellis.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

(thanks Joanie for the cute bib)

I have always loved this day...and with my name and Irish heritage I better celebrate!! We had our Irish dinner last night and my mom found a delicious recipe for Corned Beef which I will post later with my traditional Grasshopper Pie (and now I know why I only make it once a year....it is time consuming!!) I always remember my trip to Ireland with my grandparents on this special day and all the beautiful things I got to see, but especially meeting all my family members and learning the family history and seeing the original farmhouse and the train station where my relative departed Ireland for America from. This day is also very special becuase my Mamasan had Irish nicknames for all my sisters and myself. I was the Irish Shamrock so every St. Patrick's Day I used to get a special gift from Mamasan...thanks Megs for keeping that tradition going and for my special gift today!!! Hope everyone wore some green and said a special prayer to St. Patrick!!
