Finally...yesterday Angelica's one top tooth broke through the gums. Poor things has been struggling to get them in. The other one is just under the gums as well. She pumped her mouth yesterday and her gum started bleeding and bleeding. Finally figured out that the best way to calm her down and stop bleeding was to nurse her...relief!! I will try to see if I can get a pic, but she doesn't let me open her mouth very easily!!

Yikes! Once those teeth come in they really do a number on themselves when they fall down. Frozen teethers work greak for lip swelling after a good fall and split lip! Good luck.

Hi Erin,
A mom told me to fill a sock (clean and probably new) with crushed ice, tie a knot in it and give it to your baby. The knot is big enough that she won't be able to stuff the whole thing in her mouth, and the ice is a great relief for her gums.
