THIS SITE is a neat idea a friend of mine and her husband are doing. Thought I would link it here in case anyone would like to help them with raising their funds....it goes to support the Ronald McDonald House, which is a wonderful place that helps so many families and holds a special place in Christina's heart. I am inspired by how they have turned a fun vacation for them into such a giving and fruitful experience as well...way to go guys!! And Christina...don't fall asleep on the bike again!
THIS SITE is a sad, moving, inspiring and amazing site as well. I went to youth group and was friends with Patrick's brother back in high school. Continue to pray for healing and faith and resources for this family.

I read the second sight yesterday ... it's so sad but amazing to see what they've overcome! People who rely on using prosthesis overcome great limitations and blossom. I truly admire those with undying spirit.
Lalon and I had a quadraplegic friend in San Diego - took care of him and became close friends. He was the most active man I've ever met! Experiencing life to it's fullest and in every way he could despite the fact he had a physical disability. The year we were PSCing, he met a wonderful woman and got married.
I guess our minds are our real limits as to what we can do. I'm glad they're so willing to share this experience. Having support is so important.
